Fabrication Welder
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented fabricator/welder who takes pride in producing high-quality parts, fixtures, gauges, and masters for production, maintenance, and customer needs. This role involves welding and repairing components using TIG, MIG, and oxy-acetylene processes, as well as grinding, blending, and polishing work pieces to meet precise specifications. The ideal candidate is comfortable interpreting sketches, verbal instructions, and technical prints to plan and execute projects, along with cutting and preparing various metal materials as needed.

- What You’ll Do
- Fabricate, repair, and rebuild parts, fixtures, gauges, and master’s for production, maintenance, and customer use
- Perform welding using TIG, MIG, and oxy-acetylene processes on a variety of metal components
- Grind, blend, and polish finished work pieces to meet exact customer and quality specifications
- Read and interpret sketches, verbal instructions, and technical prints to plan and complete jobs accurately
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials such as tubing, flat stock, bar stock, and round stock
- Position, align, and secure work pieces using proper tools and equipment
- Operate hoists and other lifting equipment to move and load materials safely
- Build and repair facility support items such as platforms, machine guards, shelving, and bracing
- Assist maintenance department with repairs and equipment support as needed
- Support and actively participate in 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop and work areas
- Follow all safety procedures while working around industrial equipment and materials
What We’re Looking For.
- Skilled in TIG, MIG, oxy-acetylene, and finish welding techniques
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of basic measuring tools, including tape measures and calipers
- Solid basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specifications and quality standards
- Active listening skills with the ability to understand instructions, ask clarifying questions, and follow direction carefully
- Completion of a post-secondary welding program or equivalent training
- Possession of TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding certifications
- 3–4 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, lifting, bending, and handling materials as needed

- Schedule: Monday Through Thursday 6:00AM to 4:30PM or 6:00AM, Friday, 6AM to 2:30PM Some overtime may be required based on production needs.
