 Job Description:

• Perform all routine HR tasks required to support the day-to-day operations of the Mission.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best

practices, review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

• Maintain confidential personnel files and personnel actions.

• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities.

• Respond to reference checks and verifications of employment status.

• Assist in preparation of reports for annual audit.

• Maintain employee intranet HR page on company website.

• Assist with coordination of staff meetings, employee training sessions and employee events.

• Support the HR needs of the Executive Leadership Team.

• Responsible for the hiring of employees including new hire orientation and on-boarding.

• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

• Develop new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

• Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.

• Hand employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or

sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

• Attending and participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources,

talent management, and employment law.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
