Seeking 5S Maintenance Worker with Welding Experience!
Our client in the Springfield area is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. The ideal candidate is experienced in welding and warehouse maintenance work with a strong desire to grow within the field.

Job Description: Maintenance / 5S Support Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance to support safety and 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)
- Ensure all work areas are stocked with necessary supplies
- Build, Repair and install platforms, work cabinets, machine guards, and railings
- Assist with 5S inventory management to maintain organization and efficiency
- Identify and address workplace safety concerns
- Set up rooms (tables, chairs, etc.) for meetings and company events
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as ice and snow removal
- Perform repairs utilizing MIG welding and fabrication welding
Additional Duties:
- Actively participate in the 5S program (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Help maintain cleanliness of the department and machinery
- Seasonal snow and ice removal.
- Preform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Experience with MIG welding and fabrication for repair and construction tasks
- General building maintenance and mechanical repair skills
- Strong attention to safety procedures and hazard awareness
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Basic inventory management and organizational skills
- Proper use of tools and materials to prevent injuries
- Capability to work in environments with noise, heat, and potential industrial hazards
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and work in various positions (including heights up to 8 feet)
