Job Description

Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision parts

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings

Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for each job

Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy within tolerances

Perform threading, drilling, boring, and facing operations

Required Skills

Proven experience as a manual machinist

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Familiarity with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Excellent manual dexterity

Basic math and computer skills

Strong problem-solving skills
