Material Inspector

A strong analytical mindset, solid math skills, and comfort with technology—including CMM operation or programming—are highly valued. - What You’ll Do
- Perform inspections on machined parts after wash and deburr operations
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and profilometers
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Follow control plans to ensure all quality standards are met
- Set up and determine appropriate inspection methods and procedures
- Schedule and prioritize inspections based on production needs
- Record and document inspection results accurately
- Identify and report any defects or non-conforming parts
- Assist with CMM operation and/or programming (if applicable)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with 5S standards
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues
- Perform additional duties as needed to support operations
What We’re Looking For.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
- Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, profilometers)
- Basic computer skills; programming experience is a plus
- CMM operation and/or programming experience preferred
- Solid math and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and active listening abilities
- Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive mindset
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

- Pay range: $19-20 per hour. (Varies based on experience)
