Mill Operator
A top employer in the El-Paso Gridley, IL area is adding to their team and is willing to train interested candidates. If you enjoy working in a factory/industrial environment, this could be the job for you! This position requires rollforming services in our facility located in Gridley IL. to provide metal trim to specifications. This position will regularly interface with Management, Shipping and plant personnel in order to provide top quality metal trim to our customers. The operation of this Rollform mill will include production of the finished product, packaging and material handling.

The Job:
Load metal coils onto the Rollform mill payoff system using forklift.
Working from existing production work orders or documenting the orders delivered by the jobsite personnel.
Form finished parts using the Rollform machine to published specifications and in a high quality manner
Adjust/Changeover the Rollform mill to produce the desired part.
Ensure lengths are monitored and produced to the published specifications
Direct packaging personnel to properly catch/store/transport the finished goods to maintain quality production.
Display knowledge of particular machinery by reporting any and all deficiencies and needs.
Clean up any & all refuse produced in daily activities.
Maintain materials in order to facilitate reduction of scrap.
Maintain work area in a safe and orderly condition.
Fill out all required paperwork and / or enter all time and production information into the computer in a timely and accurate manner.
