Packaging Operator
A top employer in the El-Paso Gridley, IL area is adding to their team and is willing to train interested candidates. If you enjoy working in a factory/industrial environment, this could be the job for you. This position requires Packaging services for the Packaging Department in our facility located in Gridley IL. to provide metal trim and soffit to specifications. This position will regularly interface with Management, Shipping and plant personnel in order to provide top quality metal trim and soffit to our customers. The operation of this Packaging Operator will include handling of the finished product, packaging and material handling

The Job:
•Mark out trim packing list as required.
•Working from existing production work orders or documenting the orders delivered by the jobsite personnel.
•Perform set up duties building skids per customer and requirements.
•Continuously keep an eye for quality defects in trim.
•Package trim in skids or bundles per customer and requirements.
•Band completed skids per customer and requirements.
•Display knowledge of particular machinery by reporting any and all deficiencies and needs.
•Clean up any & all refuse produced in daily activities.
•Maintain materials in order to facilitate reduction of scrap.
•Maintain work area in a safe and orderly condition.
•Other tasks may be assigned by Management at any time.
