Job Description
- Maintain guidance of HUD rules and regulations
- Collect rents, security deposits, and other payments
- Post rent payments, security deposit payments, or other payments
- Perform background checks on applicants
- Calculate applicants’ income to determine the monthly rent
- Complete or assist applicants in filling out the application form for housing, including move-ins, move-outs, and transfers
Required Skills
- Must obtain a “Leasing Agent” license (Preferred, but would eventually need to get licensed)
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Basic math and computer skills
- 1 – 3 years of experience with HUD rules and regulations
