Job Description

Receives packages by following company issued work instructions.

Prepares and ships products and other materials by following company work instructions.

Build packing crates, picks and kits components to support the manufacture of the company’s products.

Procures shipping services that meet quality, delivery and pricing requirements.

Coordinates the shipping and return of components that are sent to outside services.

Ensure components returned from outside services are routed in an expeditious manner to the next operation internally.

Documents transactions in various databases that allow for product traceability.

Processes RMA materials returned on RMAs by following company work instructions. Coordinates the shipping and return of materials from trade shows.

Competence in finding shipping providers and obtaining rates favorable to the company.

Maintains the cleanliness, orderly layout, and appearance of the shipping and receiving area.

Attends daily scheduling meetings with top management where priorities are determined.

Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Potential Hazards: Slips, Trips, Falls, muscle strain, noise exposure.

Required Skills

Previous Experience Required: One (1) year or more.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to work with common hand tools in building packing crates.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to work as a part of a team environment.
