What you will love about the job:

– First shift hours 5am-4pm M-F, weekends possible in Danville IL

– Temp to hire position

– $18 an hour pay, depending on experience could be more

What you bring to the job:

– The employee in this position will be responsible for overall tire maintenance for

semi-tractor/trailer equipment.

-This person must be familiar with, adhere to, and enforce company policies and

procedures.

-The employee must be able and willing to step up to additional responsibilities

when needed.

-Removes and installs tires, which includes all aspects of repairing, replacing

damaged/worn tires on tractors or trailers.

-Maintains and stores tire inventories.

-Disposes of damaged/old tire casings.

-Maintains and operates all tire equipment.

-Receives and carries out instructions.

-Maintains regular and predictable attendance

-Performing roadside and/or off-road service calls on a continuous basis

-Dismounting and mounting any type of tire on drop center, semi-drop center and

multi-piece rims

-Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements

-Determining repairable tire conditions and making such repairs

-Removing tires for retreading or repair as needed

-Good communication skills

What qualifications do you need:

-Properly executing required billing documents

-Complying with DOT regulations

-Following all safety and driving rules

-Be familiar with, adhere to, and enforce company policies and procedures

-Adhere to legal guidelines, including such things as OSHA requirements

-Truck Tire Service or other relevant experience is required

-Valid Driver’s License

-High School diploma or GED

-The ability to work alone after training-Ability to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items

weighing at least 50 lbs

-Activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and

stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
