As part of our Executive Leadership Team, it is Doug’s responsibilities to oversee operations, drive operational performance and excellence, design innovative and industrious workforce solutions, and develops a highly trained and professional staff whose goals are to serve our clients and work force. Through creative strategies, Doug and our executive team are continually moving our business forward ensuring that our talent strategy is aligned with our business strategy. Doug strongly believes in community building and collaboration where he has focused on developing, growing and moving our Central Illinois Community towards a better tomorrow.

David Smith
Franchise Partner
David Smith brings twenty three years of experience in Human Resources as a member of Manpower of Central Illinois. His tenure began as a Professional Recruiter and moved into Marketing and Sales. Since 2000, he has been a Franchise Partner of Manpower of Central Illinois, a nineteen county area.
Prior to his arrival in Peoria, David was a registered Architect for Wiss, Janney, Elstner of Northbrook, IL, serving them for 6 years.
He is an active member of the Peoria North Rotary a previous Personnel Chair and Board Member for the South Side Mission, a previous Peoria Chamber Ambassador Chair, a 2000 Peoria Community Leadership School graduate and was Technical Services Certified for recruiting by the National Technical Services Association.
David is a member of Peoria “40 Leaders Under 40” class of 2001. He graduated the University of Illinois – Chicago as a Structural Engineer.
