Job Description

This position requires prior hands-on experience with assembly work and the regular use of hand tools and power tools. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Depending on assignment, the successful candidate will perform a variety of production and warehouse-related tasks essential to the manufacturing of doors. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

 

1. Operating both small and large machines used in door production.

2. Working on a door assembly line to assemble and build doors.

3. Using hand tools and power tools daily to complete assembly and machining tasks.

4. Machining doors for hardware installation.

5. Inspecting materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

6. Performing material preparation and material handling duties.

7. Staging and packaging finished products for shipment and delivery.

8. Assisting with other general warehouse duties as needed.

9. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all prescribed safety rules and procedures.

 

Required Skills

1. Proven assembly experience with hand tools and power tools (required).

2. Previous experience in commercial woodworking such as doors, millwork, cabinets, or similar products.

3. Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

4. General knowledge of building materials.

5. Ability to perform basic math and use standard hand-held measuring tools.
