We are looking for an experienced Cancer Registrar’s to join our Team! This Temporary opening (with possible temp-to-hire) opportunity located in Springfield, IL and has a starting wage of $19.47 an hour. To carry out our mission, Manpower is seeking an individual who has the ability to be highly organized, multi-task and transition smoothly from one project to another to join. Responsibilities
- Coordinate, directs and monitor all methods of data collection, data abstracting, data coding, data editing and other necessary functions for maintaining data reporting to ISCR.
- Independently determines priority assignments for completing data reporting and individual reporting facility compliance to meet the requirements of the Illinois Health and Hazardous Substances Registry Act and the National Program of Cancer Registries.
- Plans, directs, and evaluates the development of maintenance of reporting hospitals registries, non-registry reporting hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, free-standing radiation therapy centers, and pathology labs within the State of Illinois.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with State hospitals, agencies, and medical institutions, and laboratories.
- Develops and evaluates the definition of data elements and collaborates on maintenance and modifications in the registry structure and function. Confers with the Registry Operations Supervisor and the ISCR Manager and ISCR Manager and ISCR assistant manager to advise or recommend courses of program implementation to accomplish the IHHSR mandate.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonable within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
What You Bring to the Company:
- Must be at least 18 years or older and possess a valid driver license.
- High School Diploma
- Two-Four years of College credits or Relevant work experience in areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Science, Medical Terminology, Medical Technology.
- Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Schedule:
- 8:00am- 4:00pm
- Monday- Friday
- No Weekends
