Job Description:

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be machining parts to specifications using machine tools such as CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, and Grinders. You will set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operation. You will be responsible for aligning and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machine as well as selecting the appropriate tools and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work. Assist with keeping the department and machinery clean.

Required Skills:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and gauging sheets
Mechanically, mathematically, and electronically inclined
5S experience
Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-75 pounds during set-up
Experience troubleshooting machinery is a plus
Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using measurement instruments such as micrometers, depth micrometers, inside diameter gauges, and outside diameter gauges
Ability to work overtime
