Our client in Springfield is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team!
- Position: Data Entry
- Location: Springfield, IL
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5:00PM
- Pay: $15.00/hr-$15.50/hr
What You’ll Do:
- Perform PDF coding, file organization, and data entry.
- Use Adobe PDF, MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), ILES, and shared folders
- with general–mid-level proficiency.
- Maintain secure handling and processing of confidential information.
- Provide strong customer service and communicate effectively with constituents.
- Collaborate with team members and other divisions to achieve shared outcomes.
- Assist with in-person interactions as needed (reception coverage, walk-ins, inter-division material distribution).
- Ensure accuracy of daily work, reduce manual paper inquiries, and document/implement customer service processes.
- Answer and transfer call on a multiline phone system, greet the public, and schedule appointments.
- Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, processing mail, copying, faxing, and using a calculator or adding machine.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to safely bend, lift, and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient typing skills (35+ WPM).
- Strong customer service background, especially in high-interaction environments such as retail or service industries.
- Commitment to safeguarding and properly handling confidential information.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to ask insightful questions to help
- constituents reach the best outcome.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with team members and other divisions.
- Comfortable handling in-person interactions, including reception coverage, walk-in
- assistance, and inter-division material distribution.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
