Manpower is looking for Industrial Painter in the El Paso, IL area.
Information about the position:
· Position: Painter
· Location: El Paso, IL
· # of Openings: Multiple
· Position Type: Temp to hire
· Pay: $19.00/hour
· Days: Monday – Friday, OT on weekends if needed
· Shift: 3rd shift 11:00pm – 7:00am
· Overtime: If/when needed
Qualifications for position:
· Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
· Ability to maintain focus and concentration for a minimum 8 hour shift and be able to communicate effectively with others.
· Minimum of 1-year prior experience in similar position.
· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, speak, hear, lift 50 lbs alone.
Job Duties:
· Position may require associates to complete work across 3 departments: Paint/Machine Operation/Loading.
o Machine Operator: Operation of a plasma table and/or brake press
o Paint: Wet paint sprayer
o Loader: Using forklift and chains, load and unload trucks, move material to or from designated areas and/or workstations in a safe expeditions manner to prevent holdup of production and properly stack finished product with minimal supervision
· Operate floor-controlled overhead crane to lift, transport and position varieties of materials following established procedures of work area assignment.
· Work from hard copies, schedules, verbal and oral written instructions
· Use chains, grabs, slings or spreader bars to handle materials, using care to prevent material from slipping, dropping or being damaged while being moved
· Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper leadership
