What You Will Be Doing:
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools
- Ability to use Lathes – Milling Machines – Drill Presses – Shapers and Grinders
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using instruments such as micrometers or calipers
- Set up, adjust ,or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining
- Align and secure holding fixtures , cutting tool, attachments accessories or materials onto machines
- Measure examine or test completed units to check for defects
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition
What You Bring to the Job:
- High School Diploma or Ged
- Mechanically incline
