Title: (Machine Operator $18.00 hour – Start ASAP)

Manpower of Central Illinois is hiring for a Machine Operator-Milling/Planing in the Gridley area. This position will not last long. Apply today for immediate consideration – We are waiting for your call.

The Introduction: The Machine Operator position requires roll forming services to provide metal trim to specifications. This position will regularly interface with Management, Shipping, and plant personnel to provide top-quality metal trim.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Load metal coils onto the Rollform mill payoff system

• Form finished parts using the Rollform machines

• Adjust/Changeover the Rollform mill to produce the desired part

• Ensure lengths are monitored and produced to the published specifications

• Direct packaging personnel to properly catch/store/transport the finished goods

What You Bring to the Job:

• Overhead crane experience-Highly recommended not required

• Machinery Operation experience

• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools

• Familiar with mechanical principles and basic hand tools
