Job Description
- Coordinates facility promotion and implementation of an EHS culture, which secures effective implementation of policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
- Coordinates and enhances plant knowledge, engagement, and stability for OSHA’s Voluntary Protection
- Coordinates and conducts safety inspections and leads the facility incident investigation process to ensure incidents are reported on time, root causes are identified, and corrective actions are tracked through closure.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement, provide recommendations with priorities and action plans for review with management
- Ensures proper follow-up, resolution and RCCA of all concerns identified through assessments, inspections, monitoring activities, or other means.
- Develop and deliver training to employees on EHS programs, including new employee orientation.
- Maintains all safety training documentation and/or certifications as required by company, state, and federal occupational health and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Required 1-3 years prior experience in EHS (environmental health & safety) or Safety Coordinator
- Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in science or related field
- Experience in manufacturing setting
- Working knowledge of Federal/State regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Processes
